Safety & Security
You're in good hands
We have deep experience in cybersecurity and have worked with many people to protect them from scams and viruses.
Are you here because you’re worried you are actively being hacked or scammed?
If you got a text, call, or pop-up that scares you,
- Stop. Hang up the phone, close your computer. Do not reply to their texts. Do not call a number they gave you. Do not click any links.
- Call us or a trusted family member immediately.
The biggest weapon in a scammer’s arsenal is fear and urgency. They are trying to get you to act from a place of fear, because when we’re afraid, we can’t think straight.
Are you here because you’ve already given a scammer money or your credit card?
Firstly, there is no shame or embarassment! The FBI got hacked earlier this year! It can happen to anyone.
Secondly, every second counts. You need to get help as soon as possible so you can cut off their access to your money, phone, and computer.
We can help you. We also recommend including a close friend or family member in the process if possible — you can include them on our call.
- If you clicked a link, close your computer and call us or a trusted family member.
- If you gave them your credit card, call your credit card company immediately and tell them the card number has been stolen.
- If you wired them money, call your bank immediately and tell them you’ve been defrauded.
- If you sent them money via Paypal, Venmo, Cashapp, Coinbase, or other payment platforms, use their fraud and abuse reporting to try and reverse the payment.
- If you sent crypto, call us.
Meet Quinn
I own Senior Computer Class. I have worked in the tech industry for a decade, including four years running cybersecurity for an international nonprofit. I have helped my parents, grandparents, and family friends with technology since I was a teenager.
I’m deeply passionate about security and I am here to support you whenever you have questions about a scary pop-up, weird text or call, or a locked account.
We can talk through what worries you
If a virus popup or unfamiliar email leaves you unsure, we can discuss what it means and how to approach it.
